The United States is one of the richest nations on earth, yet, according to the CIA, it ranks 97th in family-income equality.In fact, the US has greater income inequality than than Egypt, the UK, Nigeria, Sweden, Vietnam, China, India, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, France, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Greece.[i]
