Our Lenten Journey

As we mark this new season of Lent, we are called to deepen our commitment to our individual faith journeys. As Sr. Joan Chittister, O.S.B. has noted, “[Lent] is not a ‘penitential season.’ It is a growing season. It requires us to determine what is worth dying for in our own lives and what it may be necessary for us to become if we really want to live.” (NCR, 2/23/01)

During this Lenten season, let us all join together in recommitting ourselves to live out the Gospel call for justice and peace in our world.
