Joy Wigwe

Joy Wigwe is NETWORK’s Information Technology Coordinator and the interim Human Resource Coordinator. Her responsibilities include purchasing, installing and maintaining the computer systems of NETWORK. She participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and interns.

Prior to joining NETWORK, Joy was a technology “Circuit Rider” with Technology Works for Good (now NPower Greater DC) where she worked with community computer centers and several immigrant-serving non-profit organizations. She also was with the DC Humanities Council for almost nine years as the Director of Administration and Systems as well as an Interim Executive Director.

She holds a BA degree in Business Administration and three Masters Degrees in Public Administration, Management Information Systems and Business Administration and also various computer systems certifications.
