Matthew Shuster

Matthew (Matt) Shuster is the 2011-2012 Field Associate.

Matthew Shuster, NETWORK’s 2011-2012 Field Associate, is responsible for building and strengthening relationships with members to influence federal legislation by responding to member inquiries and researching areas for activist development. In addition, he edits articles for the bi-monthly magazine and a weekly e-mail covering legislative updates. A native Virginian, Matthew graduated from the University of Virginia with a concentration in general history and with experience in service trip and philanthropy leadership. After receiving his college diploma, he recently completed a year with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Oakland, California, where he assisted a non-profit organization with homeless services and legal aid for a low income client population. Matthew is currently interested in the workings of public policy and is excited to learn about its effectiveness in Washington D.C.
