Stephanie Niedringhaus

Stephanie Niedringhaus is NETWORK’s Communications Coordinator and has worked at NETWORK since 1995. She primarily serves as Managing Editor of NETWORK’s publications (Connection, InterConnection) and as NETWORK’s liaison to the media. Additional responsibilities include editing NETWORK’s website and writing/editing policy pieces. Stephanie has been involved in numerous educational and community service activities, both in the U.S. and abroad, including serving on the steering committee of her church community. Prior to NETWORK, she was a disability rights activist. She also coauthored an award-winning book about special education policies for families of children with disabilities. Stephanie's articles on social justice issues have appeared in magazines, journals and other publications. She has a B.A. from the College of William and Mary and an M.A. from Marymount University and has completed post-graduate programs in humanities and special education at George Washington University and the Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn, Germany.
