The United States is one of the richest nations on earth, yet, according to the CIA, it ranks 97th in family-income equality.

In fact, the US has greater income inequality than than Egypt, the UK, Nigeria, Sweden, Vietnam, China, India, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, France, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, and Greece.[i] [2]
