Bill Moyers is back on PBS. His first show on January 15 was about inequality, and he plans to continue this topic in future shows.

Letters to the editor are a great way to help spread the word about the campaign and educate others about the wealth gap.

The percent of American workers belonging to a union has been in decline since the passage of the Taft-Hartley Act in 1947. The fall in union membership has contributed to increasing wage inequality and a decline in civic engagement.

According to the Economic Policy Institute, the top 1% owns more than 90% of us combined! In fact, they own over 35% of the entire nation’s private wealth.

Why does this matter? Well, the amount of wealth a person owns greatly affects their financial stability and access to opportunities- education, health care, starting a small business, savings, retirement, etc.

A large gap in wealth means a large gap in opportunities for  families and individuals.
