NETWORK has a long history of pressing for comprehensive immigration reform, and we thank the U.S. Senate for passing its bipartisan bill (S.744) this afternoon. Meanwhile, children are being denied Head Start services, families are denied access to affordable housing, and financial help for people who are long-term unemployed is shrinking – all because of sequestration.
