The Nuns on the Bus “We the People, We the Voters” tour is extending its time on the road through Election Day, as the nuns continue their push for voter engagement and registration ahead of this year’s midterm elections. Read more

Press Release: NETWORK Kicks off 2014 Nuns on the Bus Campaign in Des Moines, Iowa – with Vice President Joe Biden in Attendance

After a rousing kick-off ceremony in front of the state capitol in Des Moines, Iowa, NETWORK’s Nuns on the Bus are today sponsoring two Iowa town hall meetings, one in Council Bluffs and one in Sioux City.  Vice President Joe Biden joined the Catholic sisters yesterday for the kick-off ceremony. He delivered a powerful speech supporting the issues we work on, including healthcare access, a faithful budget, immigration reform, “a decent living wage,” and civic engagement. He was also full of praise for NETWORK’s Nuns on the Bus and Catholic sisters in general: "I know no group of people who bring more passion to what they do.” Read more
