Last evening, Good Shepherd Center in Atlanta gave us
respite in the late afternoon and dinner before our evening friendraiser.
The center provides a variety of services to the
Vietnamese community in Atlanta. Even with pouring rain, the meeting room was
standing room only. The focus was highlights of the economic benefits that
immigrants have brought and the increased benefits they will bring through
citizenship. Lots of good questions and comments and positive energy.
We are grateful for the hospitality and the extra effort
people made to come on this stormy night—some at more than a two-hour distance.
